Hope Public Library

Our stop here was awful...nnMy children and I came here for a special visit. During our visits we usually eat snacks, read, play, and watch our portable DVD player. We always clean up after ourselves! I only get to see them once a week, and I live across the state while they live in town.nThere was no smiling, courtesy, or kindness. We were asked not to get books off of the shelves. We were looked at and treated as though we were not welcome.nMy children were calm at first but quickly got more boisterous, they feed off of what is around them and the tension was palpable.nnThe treatment from the here was completely uncalled for and we certainly won't visit again. Libraries are usually our favorite places so this is a sad situation.nnAnd, inquiring of others in town on our way out, it seems we are not the only ones treated this way. People being ignored or looked as with derision.nnHow disappointing that a place meant to draw in the public, to bring people together, is actually the opposite.nnClark County Public Library could teach them a great deal! The ladies in Arkadelphia are amazing!

me and my family go there about once a week. and everytime we walk threw the door we get dirty looks, and bad attitudes. and its usually by these two ladies. So if you know them tell them to get the chip off your shoulder
