Catherine's Landing, an RVC Outdoor Destination

We stayed two days for an RV trip. The property was very nice, clean, open, large & had lots of amenities. The wifi signal was horrible. We reserved an upgraded waterfront site, however there was not a waterfront view. You have to walk about 50 yards to see the water which is obstructed by trees. We did like the size of the property as we could easily walk the dogs around the loop & access trails for even more exercise. The staff was helpful & friendly. Check in was easy. If you’re looking for more privacy and a larger space with a nature like feel, this is not the place for you. This is more commercialized, geared towards families & large groups.

Unfortunately, I can’t review the park because our RV broke down on the day of our reservation forcing us to cancel last minute. When I called explaining our situation we were informed that they were unable to credit our card but would give us credit for a future stay. I agreed. Our coach had to be towed an hour in the opposite direction so there was no way we could honor our reservation. Today we received another call rescinding their offer of a credit of a future night’s stay because apparently we reserved a non-refundable type of reservation and there are no exceptions to this policy. To say I’m disappointed in this level of customer service is an understatement! We broke down for crying out loud! And now we’re out not only the $100 for Catherine’s Landing but also another $150 for the hotel room which doesn’t include the tow. We were hoping to use our credit once we got back on the road. Now we won’t stay there tonight or ever! Thanks for your understanding and compassion!!! Much appreciated and I can’t wait to warn everyone on my many RV social media sites NOT to stay with you!

Wow after reading all the negative comments all I can says is it's your own fault if you don't LOVE THIS PLACE. I really don't get what people expect during a pandemic. Of course certain things are going to be closed. If your not comfortable traveling from out of state then stay in the state you live in. We had an excellent time and enjoyed every single minute of our time here. We have reservations for other nights this year as well and expect the same great place as last time. Thank you for keeping the park clean and Quite. Yes I have a child and she had friends visiting with us and they rode bikes and skate boards and kept quite and to themselves. This park is well maintained and clean. If your looking for some place to party and be rowdy this probably isn't the camp ground for you. Thank you for keeping in peaceful!!

What an amazing time we had at Catherines. The place is beautiful, the staff is amazing, the grounds are immaculate. My only issue was we had to leave lol. WIFI we work in the camper during the week we had zero issues I know thats not a guarantee everytime but it worked fine for us. I hope to return for my birthday in October.
