Silks Bar and Grill

We went on a Friday night about 7pm. The place wasn't crowded and was exceptionally clean. I ordered jalapeno bites for starters. We also had the Philly cheese steak and French dip. All was brought out promptly and tasted extremely good. The prices was reasonable as well. This was all around $40 to include a sweet tea and a mix drink.

Fun place to watch the game, decent $3 drafts during games, and the burgers are pretty good. I recommend the wings with the sauces on the side so they don’t get soggy. I would not recommend the soup because it comes in a baby bowl and the price isn’t justifiable. The slider trio is where it’s at if you want to try their burger, grilled chicken, and pulled pork. Yes, you can try all three! It’s fun and comes with sweet or regular fries. The specials of the month are usually the best way to go and for some reason they always taste better than anything in the menu. If you get nachos, get steak. It’s actually always tender and juicy and it’s hard to share. Three stars due to over priced, small portion basic-American food in a fancy looking setting. I will say the service is usually always great no matter how busy they are.

From the first. No hostess, she was gone from her station. Even servers looked but kept walking by. Hostess finally showed up and seated us. Then our server came, we ordered our drinks, appetizer. Ordered our food. Philly cheese steak was cold as well as the fries. Wife ordered shrimp po boy with onion rings. That one didn’t make it at all, server bright her a roast beef dip sandwich. NOT what she ordered! The server asked her to keep the onion rings while they prepared her order. We told her no, wanted them hot with her order. Finally brought her lunch, with COLD onion rings. Imagine that! Worst service, worst meal we have ever had there. No wonder it was almost empty! Won’t be back in there. Needs some supervision badly

The staff is always nice. The chicken Caesar salad is good, but sometimes the food quality is inconsistent. We still like going there because the fun and the great attitudes.
