Excellent food.. Great Bloody Mary flights...

I just left a review about how great our lunch was yesterday. The Turkey Club on cranberry/walnut bread with parmesan/garlic fries were outstanding. Prices were fair and we will definitely go back. Well worth the 1 1/2 hour drive! I forgot to mention that the Cranberry/Sage margarita was amazing! We highly recommend Tusk & Trotter

In town for my friend’s birthday and I treated him to dinner at Tusk & Trotter. We ended up siding into the bar as the Sunday Night football game was on. My friend went with the porterhouse, while I got the ‘hot’ chicken. Decent beer selection-tap or bottles.nChicken had some great flavor (on the bone), and was served with a medley of vegetables over a thick waffle. I wish that it would have had more spice/heat, though my tolerance is pretty high.

This was by far the best food we have had in a long time. The freshness of the food is very noticeable, the prices are fair, and the portions are great. We will definitely be going back! Try the Parmigiano truffle fries! The fried chicken and waffle was out of this world.

Rustic bar & restaurant. Everything is locally sourced. Food took a while to come out but was well worth the wait. Looks like they have a decent drink menu, but I didn’t indulge. Definitely worth a try!
