Judge griffin was extremely nice and fair, I am pretty sure he replaced judge sharance who shouldn't even be a judge I don't think schrance even qualified to flip burgers. I think judge griffin should school scharance on how to be a REAL judge. Keep doing good work Griffin

My only experience is with open court on mondays here. I received a warrant out for my arrest for not appearing (totally forgetting about) a ticket for not wearing my seatbelt.nI rated this a 2 star because:nPROS:n• The judge got things done very fast. You did not have to wait long to talk to him. I would expect a 5 min wait per person in front of you.n-I still recommend getting there at 7:45am to be first in line as there are a lot of people that show up. I’d say there were 30 when I went.nCONS:n• The judge didn’t get into the court room until 8:45am. It is very clearly put out that this shindig starts at 8:00 am, I personally think that being anything but early shows a lack of professionalism...I would think that a judge would be at the top of the ladder in professionalism, even to the point that we refer to them as “honorable”. I think our tax dollars should be put towards people who respect our time at least.n• The judge (on that particular morning at least) was in a bad mood from the get-go. I showed up wearing slacks and a button shirt with dress boots on, and was treated with the Sam disregard and contempt as the tweakers with sweats and no bras. I understand that you probably talk to some pretty rough people as a judge, but I do not understand why you accept a job (as a judge) that requires you to be the standard (you cannot judge someone without being the standard yourself) if you are going to be a jerk to everyone you talk to. I pay A LOT of taxes in part to keep the legal system running smoothly...why do I get stomped on for making a very simple human error?n• Lack of communication is strong here from what I observed. It is a hostile environment for question asking, and a closed environment for information giving.nSUMMARY.nDon’t blow off a traffic ticket. It is not worth what you have to do to make it right. I’m not saying you are set up for failure, but I am saying not wearing my seatbelt has dug me a little hole of annoyance to climb out of, and life has to many holes already to climb out of.

The court clerk told the judge I had an FTA which wasn't true. I was charged with one but shouldn't have been, so it was null prossed. It was proven that same day, minutes later that the charge was false and was indeed null prossed as I had stated. However, that didn’t affect the decision the judge made based on that false information. The ramifications of this decision were pervasive in my life and significantly affected both mine and my son's life in ways that I will never fully and truly recover from professionally and therefore financially.
