St George Antiochian Orthodox Church

Really needs to be seen to be appreciated. No church in Gresham comes close to its grandeur, history and magnificence, and visiting is completely free! Regardless of your religion, I recommend getting either a tour or an audio guide to really get an appreciation of the various art works and historical artefacts. One of the lesser appreciated pieces that I found interesting and beautiful was the massive baptism pool. This place will impress you with the finest details and materials. You need to spend some time here to observe its beauty. Special thanks you to Father George for extremely nice hospitality very professional while showing me around. Beautiful! A truly magnificent Antiochian Orthodox Church in the heart of Portland! I lit a couple of candles for recently deceased relatives here. Plenty of tourists, but you don’t really notice since you’re not bumping into each other too much. It’s quite large. The music that filled the whole church was tremendous! Pretty cool to be honest. You don’t need to be religious to appreciate the grandeur of St George Antiochian Orthodox Church. Highly recommend!Breathtaking! Great place to stop your hectic day, unwind for a minute and say a prayer. Light a candle for your loved ones! It's amazing how many come through here everyday!

Simply amazing... touching divine liturgy service, the true gospel, Jesus in the middle.... hallelujah amen!! Welcoming environment, great music and worship environment.
