It is a university with very good teachers, students are well prepared, have green areas, for sports, you can practice tennis, karate, soccer among others. A dining area, audit, a cork room, laboratories. There are several specialties that you can study.

The Arístides Bastidas Territorial Polytechnic University was born within the university transformation called Alma Mater Mission, with the aim of generating new models of management, training, generation and socialization of knowledge closely linked to communities. It has its genesis at the Yaracuy University Institute of Technology (IUTY), an institution born on March 5, 1974 under the presidential mandate of Dr. Rafael Caldera, which gave way on November 24, 2014, when by another presidential decree definitely creates the UPT "Arístides Bastidas", thereby honoring the distinguished Yaracuyan educator, journalist who created scientific journalism; humanist and writer of multiple books, honorary professor at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) and the Simón Rodríguez National Experimental University (UNESR).
