The Experimental Station DR. Alí Benavides Zapata, known as "La Cumaca", is attached to the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences of the Central University of Venezuela. It has a herd of registered Brahman cattle, founded in 1960 and subjected to a permanent program of productive improvement, through the development of activities in the areas of management, health, reproduction, feeding, forages and genetics. The station settled in Yaracuyan lands; It has served as an incentive for Brahman cattle producers to know the tools that allow them to improve their farm and for the acquisition of reproducers of high genetic value
