It is an old house that today is a museum. It was the house of the uncle of the Liberator Simon Bolivar. In the photos you can see the bed where the deliverer slept, the trunk where he kept his clothes, the chair he used in his room, the genealogical tree of the Liberator is also exposed among other things.

Historic site of the Atenas del Táchira where General Bolivar on April 20, 1813, also spent the night from his balcony, our Liberator gave the important speech to begin the Admirable Campaign. You can't stop going if you visit La Grita.
