EXCELLENT a unique place, full of peace and with all the comforts, and the attention is unique. We spent a week with the family and it was spectacular.

Karakuey House is located in the vicinity of Laguna de la Restinga National Park, 5 minutes from the Marine Museum and only 20 from Punta Arenas (the best beach on the island) on the outskirts of Boca del Río, a beautiful and peaceful fishing village , and it is the ideal place to relax and forget about the world for a while. The cabin has capacity for 5 people: 1 room with Queen size bed and 3 sofa beds in the living room, it has a / c in all its environments, kitchen equipped with pots, plates, cutlery and utensils, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and kitchenette. 2 stoves Both sheets and towels are included with the rent, with weekly changes for stays longer than 10 days. It also has satellite TV, ample parking, terraces, swimming pool, barbecue, all this within a private, familiar and quite safe environment. You will enjoy a beautiful desert landscape surrounded by the local flora and fauna as well as quiet nights typically with a spectacular sky full of stars. Boca del Río, less than 5 minutes away, is the base of the famous Marine Museum of Margarita whose visit we recommend as an activity to do as well as strolls in peñeros through the channels of the Laguna de la Restinga or horseback riding hired with one of the stables of the zones (that can be arranged in advance if they are interested). You can also find in the village: pharmacies, medical services, bakeries, fresh fish sale on the seashore, grocery store and hardware store, taxi service, restaurants, informal food stalls, internet service, among others. Although in the vicinity there is a possibility to contact taxis, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO BRING YOUR VEHICLE, BE OWN OR RENTED
