In front of the Plaza Bolívar of the town of Choroní is the Birthplace of Mother Maria de San José, many pass in front of it and do not know its history and what it represents historically for its people, Laura Evangelista Alvarado Cardozo known as Mother Maria San José was born in this house on April 25, 1875, died in Maracay on April 2, 1967, was beatified on May 7, 1995 by Pope John Paul II, being the first Blessed of Venezuela.
