Road engineering work of the late nineteenth century, specifically during the government of Antonio Guzmán Blanco. It was declared a National Historic Monument in Official Gazette No. 35,441, in April 1994. This bridge, like the other three-light bridge, leads to the location of what was the former Customs Office of Puerto del Rincón.

Regrettably, there has not been a safeguard for that work in the colony, there is a passerby on a daily basis that causes deterioration
