Brief Review of Rural School Nucleus No. 409
The Rural School Nucleus No. 409, was created in 1998, by a division that was made to the Rural School Nucleus No. 338, for the large number of schools that depended on it. Remaining this new creation of NER 409, with 17 schools in charge, of which 08 were of national dependence, 06 of state dependence and 03 of municipal dependence. Its headquarters are located in the San Rafael Bolivarian Education Unit, San Rafael Sector, Héctor Amable Mora Parish, Alberto Adriani Municipality of the State of Mérida.
For the year 2004, there is a separation of the 06 state schools to create the Estadal Rural School Nucleus S / N Caño Arenas, leaving the Rural School Nucleus No. 409 with 11 schools in charge, 08 of national dependence and 03 of municipal dependence. For the same year, the Seventh Bolivarian was created, attached to the Bolivarian Education Unit Ezequiel Zamora and would work provisionally at the headquarters of the Caño Arenas state school, in the afternoon shift, due to lack of infrastructure.
For the year 2006, the Mayor of the Municipality Alberto Adriani delivers in writing to the Mérida Educational Zone, the 03 municipal schools, which are absorbed by the Ministry of Popular Power for Education, to be the NER 409, with 11 national schools, described below:
1. José Félix Ribas Bolivarian School, founded in 1955 under the name of Unitary National School 1821 El Cangrejo, located in Sector Aroa I, José Nucete Sardi Parish, via los Naranjos.
2. Bolivarian Education Unit Ezequiel Zamora, founded in 1960 with the name of Caño Caimán Educational Unit. It is located in the Caño Caimán Sector, Héctor Amable Moran parish via Pan-American.
3. Brisas del Chama Bolivarian Educational Unit, founded in 1964 under the name Brisas del Chama National Unitary School. It is located in the Brisas del Chama Sector, Monseñor Pulido Méndez Parish, via the Pan-American Highway.
4. Bolivarian Educational Unit Quebrada Blanca Abajo, founded in 1964 under the name of Unitary School Quebrada Blanca Abajo. It is located in the Quebrada Blanca Sector, Héctor Amable Mora Parish, via Pan-American Highway.
5. San Rafael Bolivarian Educational Unit NER 409 Headquarters, founded in 1982 under the name of San Rafael Unitary National Basic School. It is located in the San Rafael de Mucujepe Sector, Héctor Amable Mora parish, via the Pan-American Highway.
6. La Meseta National Unitary Basic School, founded in 1984, with the name of La Meseta Unitary Municipal Basic School. It is located in the Plateau Sector, Caño Blanco Arriba, difficult to reach area, Héctor Amable Mora parish, via Pan-American Highway.
7. Bolivarian National Unitary School Quebrada Blanca Arriba, founded in 1985. It is located in the Quebrada Blanca Arriba Sector, Héctor Amable Mora Parish, an area of difficult access, via Pan-American.
8. Bolivarian Educational Unit Caño Blanco Abajo, founded in 1986 with the name of the Unitary National Basic School 1538. It is located in the Caño Blanco Sector, Héctor Amable Mora parish, via the Pan-American Highway.
9. Cerro Azul Unitary National Basic School, founded in 1991 with the name of Cerro Azul Unitary Municipal Basic School. It is located in the Cerro Azul Sector, Héctor Amable Mora parish, via the Pan-American Highway, an area of difficult access.
10. Antonio José de Sucre Bolivarian Educational Unit, founded in 2000. It is located in Sector Aroa II, Monsignor Pulido Méndez Parish, via Los Naranjos.
11. La Esperanza Educational Unit, founded in 2002, with the name of La Esperanza Municipal School. It is located in the La Esperanza neighborhood of Mucujepe, Héctor Amable Mora parish, via the Pan-American Highway.
For the 2008-2009 school year, by order of the Educational Zone the Seventh, Eighth and Ninth Bolivarian that works at the Caño Arenas State School is attached to the Rafael Rondón Márquez de Mucujepe Bolivarian High School
