Reloj de Güigüe

An old public clock that is accompanied by the fantastic legend, which for years has marked the popular culture of the town. According to the stories, the clock being installed in the old hacienda El Trompillo, owned by General Juan Vicente Gómez, (who wanted to control more demanding work days), was cursed by his workers condemning anyone who will try to repair it. Causing every watchmaker who repaired or sought to do so, died under strange circumstances and the clock stopped just at the exact moment of his death.
