I adore this old colonial house, its location is privileged, just behind the beautiful Cathedral of Ciudad Bolívar and diagonal to the square, so when you stay there, you can visit the Santo Tomás Apostol Cathedral, the Angostura Congress, the Museum of Piar and the headquarters of the Government of the Bolivar State, all these historic buildings are nearby, on foot you can explore the colonial center of cobbled streets. The inn has few rooms, so I advise you to call to check availability, yes, it has only two bathrooms that are shared with all tenants, one for ladies and one for gentlemen, for being a colonial house the rooms are around the patio central. The patio was modified to place the bathrooms and a kitchen that is well equipped so you can prepare your food if you wish. It also has a small room where you can share some beers with guests, and a larger room with many old objects, there are chairs and tables, a library if you want to read and a large window with a small balcony where you can sit and watch the Cathedral and Plaza Bolivar with total peace. The rooms are themed, I only remember the calls Africa and the Caribbean, decorated with details alluding to their name. The inn is attended by Mr. Gert, a German who fell in love with Venezuela and the landscapes of Guyana, although he already speaks of playing dominoes and eating mondongo, he is an adopted Venezuelan even in his way of speaking. It is possible that if Gert is not there, this is his eldest son or Maria to assist you. Walking a little more you can go down to the Orinoco Promenade and see our father river, the middle stone and the Angostura Bridge, appreciate the houses of remarkable Caribbean and Caribbean features, very curious.
