Templo de Belen

Known as the ruins of Bethlehem, it is one of the two ruins found in El Tocuyo. It was the first hospital in Venezuela, survived the earthquake of 1812 and 1950. The ruin is an architectural Heritage declared by UNESCO. At the moment it is very clean and taken care of thanks to collaborators of the community and retailers. In this place concerts and theater plays are held, where people attend to highlight the culture, history and majesty of ancient architecture. The place does not have security, nor information points. I recommend visiting it.

They are ruins of an ancient temple. They are fenced, clean, but it is not a safe place because it is not protected from rain and sun.

Beautiful place, the architecture of the remains is simply beautiful. It is a must to go to El Tocuyo.
