Hipólito Cisneros Biography February 1892-1972 Hipólito Cisneros Joven Valenciano, was a disciple of the director Julio Castro, founder of the normal studies in Carabobo. Enrolled in the normal No. 02, Hipólito Cisneros went to receive the lessons of his teacher, in a house located in the jurisdiction of the cathedral parish, at the intersection of Colombia Street with Martín Tovar. From there the young normalist had to leave, with the title of teacher. Hipólito Cisneros Bachelor Cisneros won his first coins for his work in a printing press. Since in the building where the normal school, Don Julio Castro, had installed a printing and a bookbinding workshop, the books were published there and magazines and newspapers were published. For the Bachelor Cisneros the educational theories of his teacher "were always renewed and far superior to his time. He looked for the reason for that teaching and found it in functional education, in preparation for life as the goal of teaching. Hipólito Cisneros knew the poor school, the school that had as its sole endowment, the discolored benches and the blackboard that hung from two long nails. The school with a running schedule, but with an afternoon material shift; that it organized exams that were true contests, with characteristics or school groups. Being an educator, he was called several times to perform technical positions; from which they were to plan and structure. From these elevated destinies, Hipólito Cisneros was always thoughtful, prudent, discreet, in favor of consulting beforehand, to give his opinion later. Of the trust that deserved it is assigned the direction of primary education, which was then the highest destination for a technical operation of education. He had previously been a technical inspector of instruction in different states of the republic. From these high positions I always seek the improvement of teaching and the multiplication of schools in Carabobo. Distributed according to the school population, graduated schools in Valencia and tried to give them in each case, the name of a brilliant teacher (eponyms). The last position he held was the address of the federal school for boys. He resides in Caracas where he lived a few days of dying. One Thursday, April 6, 1972, he was buried in the cemetery of Valencia, because he was always aware of what to do and the throbbing of the land that saw him born, to which he returned to inspire his last breath.
