I was a rural doctor there during the period December 1,988- December 1,989. Modifications in its structure and services have been made. Unfortunately, the Rx room was NEVER used because no radiologist was ever sent to the hospital and that room was "lost." Previously, rural penetration consultations were conducted to the nearby towns of the Caruao parish, once a week. Currently that activity was eliminated for doctors working in the hospital and in each of the outpatients located in each town, doctors were assigned to attend them from Monday to Friday.
