We are the Iglesia Cristiana Evangélica "Cristo el Redentor" (ICER), founded in the 70s, through missionaries Esteban Jimmerson and Gloria de Jimmerson, who settled in Ciudad Alianza, after the acquisition of the houses, which they would serve as the premises of the Church. The first official meeting to elect the board of directors was held on August 18, 1976, and was located in the 4th Stage Manzana 9 house 47, Ciudad Alianza Guacara, Edo. Carabobo - Venezuela. After the missionaries left, Brother Luis Galvis was established as pastor, in the company of his wife María de Galvis. During this period, the Church became part of the Organization of Evangelical Christian Churches (OVICE). Galvis' work was followed by missionaries Roberto Briley and Patricia de Briley who had the collaboration of Sister María Stevens, who helped as a missionary for her position as a professor at the Associated Evangelical Seminary (SEA), she also did it with the music, ladies and naturally with teaching. They were the successors of the Brileys, Pastor Stalin Salina and his wife Elinor de Salina, who remained from the year 1982, until the year 1993. At this time, ministries for the community began to be developed such as the "Cristo el Redentor" preschool, the school of musical studies and the church choir. These ministries culminated with the departure of Pastor Salina in the succession of Pastor Ahiezer Salas. The fourth pastor who led the Church was Brother Alvaro Pérez, who stabilized the sound doctrine and fought for restoration in the emotional area of ​​each of the members. At the end of his ministerial period, the Church began a stage of prayer in which the direction of God was sought, to choose the next pastor of the Church. The call was, from 2006 to 2017, in the pastoral care ministry, for Pastor Carlos A. Fuenmayor B., together with his wife María Elena Monsalve de Fuenmayor and children. We thank God for his wisdom, the great love shown and his willingness to fight in God's work, it should be noted that both are professionals in the field of psychology, and were a great blessing to the people of the community, that the Lord Almighty keep them in blessings always. In 2017, both Pastor Carlos A. Fuenmayor B. and his wife began working on "amor V.I.P." a beautiful social work under the direction of the Lord. The resources have been provided by generous people in terms of donations and their own funds; So it is an arduous and difficult task, however they do it with joy and happiness, because it is part of God's will to help the needy. May God provide provision in this beautiful ministry of service to others. From 2017 to the present, Pastor Carlos Altuve assumes the ministry of pastoral care, along with his beloved wife Katherine Méndez de Altuve. Both are graduates of the Ebenezer Biblical Institute, who, guided by the Spirit of God, are at the forefront of this ministry. They are a young couple, and recently a man of God, a servant of the Lord, has been added to their family group, their son Sairon Hitiel Altuve Méndez, born on July 10, 2018. This couple have new ideas, fresh and with the passion to serve the community and bring the good news of salvation to every creature. We give thanks to Almighty God because he has allowed them to begin to walk in the care of the Pastoral ministry, providing all the support and spiritual guidance to the community of Ciudad Alianza and its surroundings. Fulfilling and watching over the biblical principles left by our Lord Jesus Christ. Because we are ICER, a Church of disciples of Jesus Christ who make disciples.
