A place that deserves to be visited in La Pastora, very friendly people who live in the place.

It is to walk on history, the Carlos III bridge is a direct trip to history, to the engineering of the time that has been quite satisfactory, since it has survived, tremors, earthquakes, landslides and there is time defying. With no maintenance, it remains intact, half hidden for many, but for others, who manage to see and admire it is a beautiful engineering work

Incredible bridge and first of the city of Caracas, beautiful structure, located in the Pastora. Recommendation: if you are going down to see the bridge below it is good to do it with people from the area.

Charles III Bridge It is located between the corners of Dos Pilitas and Portillo, on Av. West 13, La Pastora. Caracas. In 1784 it finishes its construction by Juan Domingo del Sacramento Infante, who also built the Church of the Holy Trinity (now the National Pantheon): it is one of the oldest bridges in Caracas. It was built on the Catuche ravine. I have obtained two meanings for this word, both are fruits, guanábana and cherimoya. On the bridge there is a kind of pedestal that contains a Marble plate, protected by a grid that indicates: THE WORK OF THIS BRIDGE WAS FINISHED ON XXXI MARCH DAY REIGNING OUR MONARCH CARLOS III THAT GOD GUIE AND BEING GOVERNOR AND CAPTAIN GRAL OF THIS PROVINCE ... On this bridge passed the remains of Libertador, when they returned from Colombia. It is important to point out that during the reign of Carlos III (1759-1788) what began to be known as Venezuela was formed: in 1777 the General Captaincy of Venezuela was created: composed of provinces of Venezuela, Cumaná, Guayana and Maracaibo, Merida and islands of Trinidad and Margarita. I invite you to look for the interesting life of the alarife (old voice to point out an Architect, Master of Work or Master Bricklayer) Juan Domingo del Sacramento aInfante, Caraqueño, Brown social class and maker of multiple ventures. #CarlosIII #CarlosIIICcs #PuenteCarlosIIILaPastora #QuebradaCatuche #JuanDomingoDelSacramentoInfante #Alarife #Bridge #Bridge #Colonial Bridge #ColonialBridge
