The Federation Arch is a monument located in the liberating municipality in the west of the metropolitan district of Caracas, Venezuela, located specifically within the Ezequiel Zamora Park (El Calvario) in the center-west of the capital. It is colonial style. It was inaugurated by President Joaquín Crespo on October 28, 1895, in reference to the Venezuelan Federal War between 1859 and 1863. The architect Juan Hurtado Manrique was in charge of designing the Federation Arch with Alejandro Chataing. Its last restoration was carried out in 2010, as part of the improvements to El Calvario Park.
