This place it's a hidden gem in the Morrocoy National Park. As a Venezuelan, I had visited Tucacas (nearby town) and these beaches many times before, but staying here was another level of leisure and relaxation. It is a small place, with all the amenities you would need, service it's personalized and the food it's amazingly good. It's been 3 years since I went last time, and I'm counting the hours to go back the next time I visit Venezuela.

Clearly when visiting a coastal-mangrove environment one expects to be surrounded by different insects and bugs, however inside the rooms there shouldn't be any (sorry no insect repellent works ICARIDIN, PERMETHRIN, DEET). The hosts (owner and administrator) are not as friendly IMHO, sort of racial/social class discrimination was on my mind while talking to them, I must say they didn't knew I was a guest at the beginning and sort of a late non-apology justified attitude reason was given, all this despite not complaining about any shortcomings directly with them. Waiters and cook are very gentle and caring (tip's well earned), too many unwanted interruptions, but mainly by accident, food was ok, the employees need to be given uniforms and a kitchen area renovation is necessary. Lodge like structure, some rooms smell like moss and not all of them have hot water. The common area is very nice, there are a few friendly pets there's a small jacuzzi like thing, its a relief for the heat, they offer transportation by sea to the different keys of the national park keep in mind it's on a small fishing boat like.
