Orinoco Eco Camp

I booked a tour with hike Venezuela and stayed in Orinoco delta at Orinoco Eco Camp.the people who are working there were affable.the food was very poor-one egg and 2 slices of bread for breakfast,one egg and 2 slices bread for dinner.the worst was the fact that their engine’s boat was broken most of the time.one morning the boat trip was canceled because of the broken boat.another day the engine broke down and got stuck in the middle of nowhere for 2 hours until someone passed by and pick us up.the main goal when going to a delta is the boat trips and their boat was a joke. My staying was ruined by these problems. Find another camp if you wish a good experience in Orinoco Delta.

Spectacular camp in the heart of the pipes in the Orinoco Delta, you enjoy the beauty of the place since you leave the town of Buja (one hour from Maturin) with a great diversity of animal and plant species, you can see the Waraos in their habitat and its customs. I could swim in the river, go into the jungle, fish Caribbean (piranhas), go kayaking and spend a sensational day

This is a truly wild place far from civilization. You need to come to terms with some inconveniences in advance and enjoy nature. The people from the camp are very attentive and friendly.
