This park is one of the three that make up what was originally called El Gran Parque Caroní or Parque Urbano Caroní. It has 400 hectares of land, was founded on May 28, 1985 and owes its name in recognition to the famous Swedish botanist Pedro Loefling who was the first naturalist who was interested in the study of flora and fauna in the region. February 22, 1756, at 27 years of age in the vicinity of Mission San Antonio de Caroní. Among the animal species found in the park is the Orinoco caiman, monkeys, deer, limpets, chigüires, babas, báquiros, reptiles, morrocoyes and many others that live there, some in controlled captivity and others naturally derived from part of the operation carried out in the area of El Gurí to rescue the animals that inhabited the areas that would be flooded by the artificial lake of the dam. Also, you can admire beautiful trees such as mahogany, samanes, araguaneyes, apamates, oaks and ceibas. The area is located on the left bank of the Caroni River and adjoins the Cachamay Park, constituting a green area of 246 hectares, a large part of them open to the public and the rest forms a natural area not intervened where some species of animals and birds live freely and without restrictions. The park is open Tuesday through Sunday from 5:30 am to 6:30 pm. It is a place that serves as recreation for the natives and tourists, who having already entered the Cachamay Park continue their journey until they reach the southwest side of it and enjoy the native fauna and flora of the region.

Spectacular waterfall and wooded area with stone bridges and suspension. You must not stop visiting, it is unique. Also for walking, jogging and bicycles or skates.

Excellent landscape, overlooking the Caroni River, the Italo Venezolano club facilities are excellent, clean and safe. It's worth it to celebrate, share with friends and family.

Excellent place to visit although I saw several young people from the street inside its facilities which indicates a certain insecurity
