It is the year of 1972, on this date he decides to abandon the habits of guiding the Lord's flock, however he will continue to be a priest according to the Canon Law of the Church, on March 13, 1976 he receives the University title of professor in the specialty of Spanish, Literature and Latin and begins his vocation to teaching as a teacher for hours at the Liceo Cristóbal Mendoza de Trujillo and the Santa Rosa Basic Cycle of the state, he was also a teacher in the San Lázaro Creation educational unit and the Briceño Valero Américo Educational Unit and in the Pampanito Basic Cycle of the Trujillo state, during the period (1972-1983); He stood out with an excellent teacher, always committed to the spiritual and academic development of his students.
In 1976 the Holy See of the Vatican granted him the authorization to withdraw from the service to the faithful, the priesthood and dedicate himself to family life, he married María Auxiliadora Linares, from this union his two sons José Gregorio and Gregorio Alfredo were born and on the 22nd March 1983, he died in the city of Trujillo after suffering a terrible disease; Cancer and lymphoid leukemia (Respiratory Failure and Acute Hepatitis).
