The Emergency Training Foundation (FUNCAES) is a non-profit organization dedicated to training personnel in the area of ​​emergencies and disasters. Since its inception, more than 5,100 people have been trained throughout the National territory. Funcaes was founded by Assistant Sergeant Rool Berth Escalona and Lieutenant Grégory González, during the year 1997 in the city of Los Teques, Miranda state. Later, in 2002, the institution moved its address to this city and currently operates in Paseo Meneses, Ana shopping center, mesanine level, office number three. The coverage area includes first aid workshops in schools and workplaces in private and public offices, training for firefighters, police officers, Civil Protection personnel, it also offers training for technicians in pre-hospital medical emergencies (paramedics), industrial safety, rescue, fire and prevention.
