It is a place with a unique energy. Being there makes you travel in time. It is necessary to rescue the historical value of the place with the help of the State, civil society and private companies to boost ecological tourism in Aragua and the country.

The Rancho Grande Biological Station is located within the Henri Pittier National Park in the state of Aragua, Venezuela, specifically at kilometer twelve (12) of the road that goes to Ocumare de la Costa. The station was built in the 1950s for a mountain hotel but was never completed and was later used as a research center, museum and for biological studies. From its highest part it offers a panoramic view of the states of Aragua, Carabobo and Guárico. Initially it housed the representative flora and fauna collections of Venezuela, product of the work of national and international scientists. However, these collections were relocated in what was called the museum of the biological station of Rancho Grande located at km zero (0) of the same road. Rancho Grande represents a mythical place full of stories and above all admiration of the landscape. A dense cloud forest embraces its structure which in turn creates an ideal environment for visitors and especially for the existence of many species of plants, amphibians, fish, reptiles, birds and mammals

It was a great experience to know that wonderful place because it keeps a great history of the Venezuelan past. Great architectural gem!
