Doña Rosalia Campins de Herrera

The Bolivarian National Basic School "Doña Rosalía Campins de Herrera" was born on October 8, 1982 in a beautiful fifth property of General Marcos Pérez Jiménez with the consent of the then President of the Republic of Venezuela Doctor Luis Herrera Campins, who personally inaugurated this school campus and from that date we begin the commendable work of teaching and educating so many generations that have been present throughout these 35 years. Its name is due to the illustrious matron from the Portuguese state. The Barrio la Quinta is selected as the headquarters of this campus, for having a beautiful structure, and it is through Professor Leopoldo Rodríguez, Director of CENAIM II, who promotes this creation. That concern is brought to the Educational Zone of the Federal District, which through the Poor Neighborhoods program directed by Professor Luisa Tovar de Cruz and the strong support of Professor Carmen Valladares, Head of Basic Education, becomes a reality. It begins its work after being inaugurated with the assignment of a Founding Director such as Bernabé Medina, and then its current Director Javier Bravo, accompanied by a team committed to the institution, continued with his work.
