Biography of José Ramón Camejo Born in El Chaparro, jurisdiction of the Aragua district, on April 24, 1839, his parents, natives of Barcelona were: José Camejo and Josefa María Sabino. He received his education in the cultured city of Aragua de Barcelona, ​​with the remarkable Lic. Narciso Fragachan with the first knowledge acquired he passed at 17 years of age next to the dignified Bishop José Manuel Arroyo. In the Episcopal Palace, I study Theology while pursuing a Philosophy course at the National College of Guyana, where he received a Bachelor's degree. Aspiring to pursue a scientific career entering the jurisprudence course at the National College, which could not end due to disorders caused by the War or the Federation. These disorders that made his beautiful ideals of civilization and glory in the field of study impossible, were not enough to separate him from him, since he dedicated himself to learning French, English and music. Camejo was already inclined to teach and since he possessed a valuable treasure of knowledge, he could easily dedicate himself to this branch, as a skilled and outstanding teacher. This happened more as he had offered to give lessons at home to the girls, had numerous disciples and acquired in a short time the reputation of a distinguished pedagogue. He was recommended so much in teaching in the Bolivar state that despite his short years he was known as an honorable personality, for his conditions of ingenuity and character. This was undoubtedly due to Mr. Francisco Javier, Rector of the Guayana College requesting him to run the aforementioned school, the council of the Department of Honor decided to gather all the boys' schools in a single Institute with the name of Municipal Lyceum, for which he was appointed sub - director then for the year 1864 - 1865 he acted as Vice - Rector of the Guayana College. In 1867, separated from the national school and associated with Mr. Pedro Sudestrong, Camejo founded the Talvera College in Bolivar city, which became remarkable and joyful of rapid prosperity, in which he received the basis of his intellectual and moral education outstanding characters of that region. Among other Felix Montes, Ramón Barrios, Federico and Cesar Vicentini and many others. Years later Camejo founded in Upata, the Don Agustín School.
