The Ramos Sucre House, is not a museum itself, although it preserves objects that belonged to the family of the poet José Antonio Ramos Sucre, it is a literary activities center with a library specialized in literature, it is also the headquarters of the José Antonio Ramos Sucre Literary Biennial, with a room where they present different cultural activities.

Ramos Sucre House. This belonged to the poet's paternal grandparents, José Antonio Ramos González and Trinidad Martínez Vallenilla. The house is inherited by Mrs. Rita Sucre de Ramos and her children, Trina, José Antonio, Miguel, Luis, Lorenzo and Carmen Ramos Sucre. Years later, the Ramos Sucre family decides to move to Caracas and the house is sold, through different owners The Ramos Sucre House has a library specialized in literature, and is a center of multiple cultural activities: music, plastic arts, theater ..., in which those related to literature stand out: courses, conferences, workshops, book presentations, seminars Likewise, it is the permanent headquarters of the José Antonio Ramos Sucre Literary Biennial, one of the most prestigious in the country, first convened in 1970.
