At the beginning of the construction of the Liceo Los Arcos, an agreement was made to protect the rock art that is found within the municipal lands, such as two petroglyph stones, which cannot be seen today, since they have fallen to a moat and no rescue attempt has been made for it. This site was sacred to the Caribs and on many occasions conversations between Guaicaipuro and their sons, the chiefs Baruta and Chacao, took place. The Boyera monument is part of a heritage of caring, respecting and knowing.
