This stadium cumunmente did not have a name. All happened when on July 19, 2010 at the Isla de Coche Cultural Center (CCIC) there was a brawl during an event, in which 4 people died, among those people was Alfredo Rafael Suarez known in the town as "Kae" who He was a dedicated family man, fisherman and a good football coach, very dedicated to his students. Therefore, this stadium was named Alfredo Rafael Suarez Stadium "Kae".
