Posada El Quilombo

The restaurant area of the posada (photo) was really nice and it's well kept. The rooms area need some painting and some maintenance work done. The rooms were nicely decorated and clean. Service was good and the food was nice. However, this posada is not on the beach side, it does not have direct access to the beach nor does it have a private beach area. They do have a semi-private area at the nearby beach they maintain and service for the guests, but anyone walking along the beach can easily reach it. We were told it was a direct access, and while we were taken from the posada to the beach it was indeed a 5mins drive. I would still recommend the posada, just with the full knowledge that is not on the beach and it does need a bit of TLC to reach its full potential.
