Excellent place, the ideal is to go but without an excursion group since they barely stay on the site for an hour because they have to visit other tourist sites. It is very close to the castle of San Ignacio, by car maybe 8 minutes, you have to walk a bit long and uphill, but the weather is good and the landscape is pleasant and the walk does not tire you. The thermal water pool was made of stones, near the edge it can have a depth of one and a half meters and in that place it is less hot but with an impressive view of the mountains, near the shore where the spring falls it is much hotter. I advise you to bring your drinks and food because there is nothing nearby to buy and please, most importantly, do not get dirty, take all the garbage and waste that you have left. There are no inns on site, but you can camp. Merida is undoubtedly one of the states in Venezuela with the best climate and diversity of places to enjoy.
