I took the Guatopo National Park route up to the Alps by bike. The experience was totally amazing. The unparalleled landscape and the very pure air. The proximity of the river made it a very cool environment and easy to enjoy. After 30km I reached the Alps, where police officers were guarding the area. Very kind in their attention. The waterfalls are highly recommended to cool off. And they are very well located, within reach. The only thing I didn't enjoy was seeing some santeros doing their thing in the river, but hey, everyone understands their world. For the rest, highly recommended for a good walk.
