The Agricultural Technical School “Sabana de Mendoza” located in the Sucre Municipality, Trujillo State, was founded on April 25, 1964 with the purpose of responding to the need to train and train professionals in the agricultural and livestock field in a region that It has a high agricultural potential and that needs to be exploited in a rational, efficient and effective way to be able to be inserted into a sustainable development process that allows to improve the quality of life of its inhabitants. From the “ETA” classrooms, as we are known in Trujillo lands, several generations of professionals have graduated: Agricultural Experts, Media Technicians in Agricultural and Livestock Production and in recent years, attending to the needs of the country, the region and From the local community, which needs to be more productive and transform and process what it produces with high levels of quality, we have been graduating Media Technicians in Food Techniques and Agricultural Sciences. Our School is a reference to train and train the human talent that goes to our classrooms. It is also an opportunity for our region because it will be able to count on professionals who will have an integral and integrated vision of agriculture and who will not only strive to be productive by increasing and diversifying production systems but also will ensure that they obtain a product that meets the standards quality requirements for consumption and for them to be competitive in the market. Our north is to form within the highest technical values ​​Highly competitive means, capable of handling scientific and technological innovations that can improve productivity and production quality of Venezuelan agriculture and the Trujillo region within a framework of sustainable agriculture using an ecological technology that contributes positively to the conservation of the environment. OUR RESOURCES In addition to having a valuable human talent, the Technical School has 46 hectares at its disposal. Of these 3 are occupied by physical facilities (classrooms, offices, indoor gym, library, virtual classroom, school canteen, soil laboratories, biology, chemistry, agro-processing classroom among others); 13 hectares are destined to the agricultural and livestock production units and the rest are in the process of deforestation to incorporate them progressively into the production process. OUR MISSION To train professionals with mastery of knowledge, highly trained and competitive to produce in an integral way in the agricultural, livestock and agroindustrial areas, socially and economically committed to the growth and sustainable development of the region, generators of wealth, making efficient and rational use of the existing resources in your environment.
