Not open to foreigners unless you register and book a visit beforehand with local government. Even if you get permission, photography is still not allowed anywhere on the inside. It's really quite a nice visit, but I wish they would open for tourists for real. The Fort is still home to some military personell but it is no longer used as a fortified installation. All the old French canons are gone. But the canon turrets and bunkers are still intact and it's interesting to see from a military history point of view. The military still stationed at the Fort keep it in shape while they also grow some of their own food and have some farm animals. On the Eastern side is just more or less mangrove jungle and the river is not visible from anywhere inside the Fort.

Cannot join into for tourism. Restrict area. No photography.

This place used to be open to the public but no longer is. From the outside there was not much to see. I cycled from Saigon and if you chose the backroads the trip could be worth it
