You are better off taking a bus to Ho Chi Minh City for a proper doctor than wasting your time here for anything serious. I came several times after a serious wound from motorbike accident and they cleaned it everyday telling me it was okay. I insist it might be infected b it they say it’s okay, so then I went to danang and was told the wound was infected and needed treatment. Don’t risk it with this place.

The are lovely people,,had a proplem with my ear ,,the took care of me and not even had to pay something's ,even the test for my ear was for free ,,the doctors speaking basic English so not a big deal to communicate ,,for small things I would this place highly recommend ( I'm German citizen)

This hospital is useless for the following reasons:nna) They couldn't diagnose me or do an ultrasound of my abdomen (even though I was paying for any tests conducted at the hospital). The only thing they did was bombarding me with medication detrimental to my health (due to an existent liver condition known to them);nnb) They couldn't understand English. One of the doctors said that he could understand 'breathing in' but kept asking me whether I had breathing difficulties inhaling or exhaling. For your records - breathing in is a synonym of 'inhaling' and 'breathing out' is a synonym of 'exhaling'; those words have the exact same meaning;nnc) I was unable to sleep for the 2 nights I stayed at this hospital due to having serious breathing difficulties. Not once I was given an antihistamine to resolve this issue and, consequently, rest during the night. Ironically, upon departure from the hospital, the doctor on duty, prescribed an antihistamine. This was enough to stop my breathing problems in the aftermath.nnd) They consider blood pressure of 130 over 90 to be normal even though the normal range is 120 over 80.nne) I was diagnosed with an 'allergic rhinitis' at a private hospital. At Lam Dong Hospital, they were claiming that I would possibly have asthma (which I definitely don't have), heart disease (which I don't have) or sinus (which I don't have).nnf) The WC is absolutely disgusting. The hospital doesn't appear to have showers either.nnIf you're in Dalat and need urgent medical assistance go to the private hospital - Hoan My Hospital Da Lat - as you will otherwise be wasting both your time and money at this place (especially if you're an expat). I paid nearly 2 000 000 VND for the privilege of spending 2 days in agony at the hospital.
