Pearl Farm in Phou Qoc. Very interesting to learn that pearls today are not natural but rather farmed. Farming means they insert a little plastic ball into the pearl shell and put it back in the water for 2 to 3 years to have the propper pearl material grown around the small plastic ball. Their pearls vary in colors such as white, black, pink and some derivatives. Of course, don't miss out on the opportunity to buy some pearl jewelry..
