One of famous places in Vietnam history. on this Bach Dang River, three Vietnamese heroes together with their army has defeated Chinese invasions in century 9th, 10th and 12th. Especially, Ngo Quyen King is the first one defeated the Southern Han kingdom at the Battle of Bach Dang River and ended 1,000 years of Chinese domination dating back to 111 BC under the Han dynasty.nVietnamese people respect their heroes king and never forget them in their brilliant history.nIf you visit Haiphong, you should come here to know and explore Vietnam history!
