Food is delicious and the staff are friendly

We got scammed. Trung and Qui promised us so much, a homestay with their family. Nope, it was not. They promised us a tour including floating market tour.There was no market cause it was already 9 am. They promised tickets to HCMC back. In the end we stood there alone with the two men driving us aroud on the motorcycle who didn't really understand English on the sideway in the middle of nowhere. They called a bus to Saigon (waved at one that passed us by) that was highly unsafe to be in (unsafe driver, vietnamese thug). Driver promised to pay. Guess what, he didn't.nI'm embarassed that we were so naive and I'm not even mad about the waste of money but about the dishonesty of these people whereas Ben Tre and Mekong Delta is so beautiful.nOf course I would have loved to talk to Trung again, But after he received our money he was never seen again. Please dont go there, dont trust them. They are liars. Better don't waste your time on some senseless, tourist mekong delta tour. Enjoy Ben Tre. It's worth seeing.

We have been abused by some tourist hunter who lied to us. We didn't send to go there. Still this place is nice to visit (to spend a few hours), by foot, or on a bicycle.

Overall great experience

A very local homestay deep in some small town. The rooms are ok, but the setting is fantastic. It's a big property with some nice places to relax near the canal and not a motorbike to be heard in the background. Our host, Huy, was friendly, honest and cooked a good meal for all the guests. It was a nice place to feel at home in the Vietnamese countryside
