SALAMAT cathedral, Nguyen Trai street, My Long ward, Long Xuyen city, An Giang province is the only place where religious religions Islam has only one, while in the cathedral of SALAMAT, from 1963 to present and the State of Vietnam Nam admitted to issue legal documents, but after many years, the church of SALAMAT asked for permission to restore and repair the building and not give it. Whereas the other religions in Long Xuyen city after SALAMAT cathedral were approved for construction by the People's Committee of An Giang province, especially the SALAMAT cathedral where the Muslim religion is performed only one and a half of Muslim merchants who come here to invest and do business, ... expect the Government to consider where Islam Religion is here, to be like other religions.
