Design your own holiday.nnMy partner and I recently travelled to Vietnam and Cambodia on a private tour (only the two of us) and entrusted Luxury Travel Agency Vietnam to organise our entire trip. We had some non negotiable items, such as: no main stream hotels, good food, the big five, good wine and only four stops.nnLuxury Travel Agency Vietnam absolutely nailed the itinerary. Wonderful five star boutique hotels, great day trips which were very flexible and because of weather on two occasions we sat down with our guide and designed a tour on the spot which was more about what we wanted to do and not by the book.nLuxury Travel Agency Vietnam contacted us on a regular basis (when we had phone reception) to make sure everything thing was going well.nnOur drivers/guides were always on time, in clean, modern cars, were very friendly and had a good working knowledge of what and where we were going.nnLoved the personal feel in dealing with Luxury Travel Agency Vietnam and would never go back to a main stream travel company.nnWe are currently planning a trip to the south of Vietnam and Thailand and I have already asked Luxury Travel Agency Vietnam to start making suggestions on what and where we should be considering.

We have just arrived back from a wonderful Vietnam vacation arranged by Ms. Duong at Luxury Travel Agency Vietnam. We found them online and decided to use them based on other reviews and the fact that they had a good “Cultural Vietnam” tour that we were able to use as a starting point to build upon and customize. In the end we put together a 25 day vacation that was just great. The accommodations were exceptionally nice and food was fabulous. Our guides were very knowledgeable and provided lots of fascinating information about the places we visited. However the real testimony for the company came from how they handled unforeseen events and changes. Unbeknownst to us, our flight from Dong Hoi to Hanoi was changed from a morning flight to an evening flight several days before our departure. Ms. Duong contacted us about the change, arranged for a late departure from our hotel in Dong Hoi, re-arranged transportation to the Dong Hoi airport and from the Hanoi airport, and moved the activities we had planned for that afternoon in Hanoi to the next day. We did not have to do a thing… which was wonderful! Also, we asked to have an additional stop added to our journey from Ha Long back to Hanoi, which she was able to set up for us with no problem. She provided us with exceptional service!nnThe only small bit of feedback we have is that it would have been nice if the itinerary descriptions had more specific details about all the planned activities as well as the physical aspects of each tour (distance walking / biking, number of steps for climbing). My wife has a bone spur in her toe so she has to pace herself to keep it from getting too aggravated. There were several places where there was a climb of 400, 600, and even 1200 steps that were not identified in the itinerary. It would be very helpful to know about those during the initial planning process.nnThanks so much to Ms. Duong and the Luxury Travel Agency Vietnam team for a memorable vacation!
