Lucky Spot Beach Bungalow

This is a lovely family-run place with bungalows on the beach and spectacular views! Staff was very helpful, communication was great. Rooms are basic but they have everything you need and even the WiFi was strong. The bed was especially good (not the super-hard beds popular at many hotels in Vietnam, but comfortably firm western mattresses). We had dinner there - reasonably priced and a fair selection - and a good breakfast that was included in the room rate. We only stayed for one night, but next time we're in the area, I'd stay longer here.

Paradise. This place is truly a lucky spot, on the sand with the best seat in the house to a stunning beach scene. Lisa runs a relaxing, happy place. She is very attentive, friendly and super quick to communicate in messages and during the days of stay. There's actually a lot to do in the area, very manageable (we did with two small kids, youngest 18 months) but very rewarding. Climb the bluff for spectacular views and a great sense of accomplishment, ride to the fishing villages and rice fields, play beach volleyball, Kubb, paddle ball, swim in the gentle waves, walk along the beach to the boulder caves. We extended our stay to enjoy the place longer. Food is excellent, definitely try the chicken curry and papaya salad. We will be back!

In English : I went to the beach and the hotel with 2 friends. On arrival, no waiters or hotel owners are here. We changed into swimwear and waited at the outermost tables and chairs at the beach. When I saw people coming into the hotel, I greeted them and knew they were guests from Hanoi, not the service staff or the hotel owner. After a while, I saw a girl speaking Vietnamese in a foreigner voice. The first thing was that she invited us out of their tables and chairs. I answered that we waited here to ask for a hotel. After the girl provided the price information, I offered to see the empty room with the lowest price. Although we were talking politely, suddenly a foreign woman interrupted her voice and chased us away. I speak in English that we are asking to rent a room. The young lady then said that she didn't want to show the room so we left. We feel offended because of the minimal kind reception at this hotel. We rated 1 star for the reception we received but we added 1 star because of the beautiful beach. In love this beach, we decided to rent at the local bungalow 80m nearby.nIn Vietnamese: Tôi đến bãi biển và nơi khách sạn cùng 2 người bạn. Khi thấy có những người đi vào khách sạn, tôi chào hỏi thì biết họ là khách đến từ Hà Nội, chứ không nhân viên phục vụ hay chủ khách sạn. Chờ thêm một lúc sau thì tôi thấy 1 cô gái nói tiếng việt bằng giọng lơ lớ. Điều đầu tiên là cô ấy mời chúng tôi ra khỏi khu vực bàn ghế của họ. Tôi trả lời rằng chúng tôi chờ ở đây để hỏi thuê khách sạn. Sau khi cô gái cung cấp thông tin giá tiền, tôi ngỏ ý được xem căn phòng trống có mức giá thấp nhất. Mặc dù chúng tôi đang nói chuyện bằng phép lịch sự nhưng bất chợt có 1 người phụ nữ nước ngoài chen giọng nói vào và đuổi chúng tôi đi. Tôi nói bằng tiếng anh rằng chúng tôi đang hỏi thuê phòng. Cô gái trẻ khi ấy nói không muốn cho xem phòng nên chúng tôi rời đi. Chúng tôi cảm thấy bị xúc phạm vì không được tiếp đón tử tế tối thiểu tại khách sạn này. Chúng tôi đánh giá 1 sao cho dịch vụ đón tiếp mà chúng tôi nhận được nhưng chúng tôi thêm 1 sao vì bãi biển đẹp. Vì yêu bãi biển này, chúng tôi quyết định thuê tại beach bungalow cách đó 80m.

Lucky Spot is in a beautiful, secluded location. The rooms are modern, spacious with high ceilings and the beds are so comfortable! Unfortunately, the beach had quite a bit of rubbish on it, but it seemed manageable if regular clean ups were organised. Lucky Spot has a really lovely, friendly, family-run vibe to it - a clean up regime that encourages guests to pick up rubbish daily would go down very well I think. This could even be coupled with a reward system whereby for every bag of rubbish collected gets you a free beer perhaps. I have stayed in places that have gone this before and it was very successful. Aside from this, Lucky Spot is gorgeous and I would highly recommend it.

Unbelievable location: opposite to the quite, peaceful and isolated beach! I think it's a homestay with 5 stars luxury resort view!nEasy access to local restaurant filled with seafood and other local products.
