STAR Hotel Restaurant

The hotel is fairly good if you are lucky enough to get the room with window. Half of the rooms are without neither window nor good ventilation system. The room is pretty small. Bad smell comes from the sewage system makes the stay highly uncomfortable.

Every morning there is a bad sewage smell in the room! The hallway and elevators are not air conditioned! There’s a pay breakfast buffet thought foods are cooked elsewhere and brought into the hotel for consumption! The furniture and decorations are gaudy and vulgar! Although the hotel is new, signs of wear and tear due to poor maintenance, poorly trained housekeeping staff and inadequate supervision, are showing through out! If you are of the 5th floor for the breakfast buffet, look outside around the balcony where cleaning equipment is lying around next to extra dining tables! In another year, the hotel will look tired and old and unkempt! The front desk staff is friendly and nice! Housekeeping staff is accommodating though they don’t know how they are supposed to clean the room! They don’t even have a hard floor vacuum cleaner!

The hotel is very close to the city centre, city market and main road. Room for 3 was pricey, fully furnished, really big TV, yet every night there would be smell of sewage coming through the hotel's sewage system, from the river nearby. Other than that, nothing to complain of.

The clean room, friendly staff and affordable price, highly recommend hotel when you came Phu Yen, it's also near Phu Yen Market, coopmart supermarket.
