An extraordinary place. The gardens are actually quite beautiful and peaceful, in contrast to the horrors that happened at this site 50 years ago. A reconstructed house, and the Buddhist temple dedicated to the victims, are especially moving. The museum is, appropriately, deeply disturbing and thought-provoking. Some may feel that the curators have chosen a tone slightly too close to the language of communist propaganda - but this is understandable in the circumstances.

We went by 1pm or so in mid november and the place was just by ourselves. It seems a bit neglected but the complex is very well laid out. A lot of information about the incident can be found in English. Highly recommended

A historic memorial and museums space and garden to be visit for everyone who find his way to Quang Ngai. Be aware that the local people are still traumatized when they get in touch to western tourists.
