Lung Tam Linen Cooperative

We visited the Lung Tam Linen Cooperative on the last day of our Hà Giang Loop adventure. I can highly recommend this place, it is very inspiring and they have a beautiful array of textiles for sale.nWe purchased a beautifully made table piece for decoration. The work that goes into each individual piece is incredible!nA must visit!

If you do the Ha Giang loop, I would highly recommend you to visit this place.nWhen we arrived, there was an old lady who welcomed us and showed us throughly the process of making linen fabric from plant. The more we learn about the process, the more we admire the effort behinds those products.nnThe lady who is leading this operation has such an impressive and inspirational story. She was putting a lot of effort on not only preserve the tradition of her ethnic community but also empower the women in her village to live their fullest. She is very open and friendly so you can talk to her and hear her stories.nnEach of the pattern on the products do have their own meanings, so if you are interested enough, you can ask.nnP/S: you can search “Vang Thi Mai” on google to learn more about her stories. Amazing traditional local handicraft

The lovely Ladies showed us thru the whole process from plant material to cloth. The products they make are incredible and last well
