Stone Flower Hostel

This place was awful. The staff seemed angry that we showed up to stay here. The bunk rooms were freezinggg cold. The hot water for the shower lasts for less than 5 minutes. The other guests were extremely loud at all times -- with outrageously high volume karaoke playing after 9 PM at night until the power went out and thankfully ended that business. Then music and yelling again at 7 AM. The walls filter out none of the noise. The restaurant had decent portions, but they were out of half of the dishes on the menu. One of the worst and least hospitable places I have stayed in SE Asia.

Really nice accommodation w/good showers, views, and standard firm beds.nnLow review score is because there was some miscommunication / dishonesty about the rates. My friends and I were told one price but the following morning it was doubled. It wasn't a lot of money difference but it's the principle of the thing.

There is nothing around this hostel. It takes 14km from Dong Van and 30 km fron Yen Minh. If the time gets dark you have to stay here because it is only one choice.

Rooms aren't calm at all and the boss scammed us twice. First on the room price, then on the food we DIDN'T order. I will definitely not come back here. I feel like it is all about getting more and more money out of the customer. Don't feel welcome nor appreciated as a person.
