Al forno Italian restaurant Đồng van

Large open air restaurant with two names - Mr Hung (Vietnamese menu) and Al Forno (Italian menu). Decent enough especially as one of the only non-rice options when visiting in June 2020. Everything we ate was good except the pizza which was flavorless. Pancakes, coffee, pasta, smoothies, and french fries all yummy.

No pizza or pasta. I wonder why they bother opening.

I ate here on my first night of the Hà Giang loop. The menu offers both Western and Vietnamese food, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The location is great as well, as it is surrounded by good hotels.nnI would recommend Al Forno to anyone hungry after the loop!

We were at first slightly suspicious of the place because we're often wary of places in Vietnam specifically catering for tourists (ie the Bob Marley painting outside) but it surpassed our expectations. The service was excellent and the server helped us with recommendations all around the loop.nWe shared a pizza and Vietnamese food. Both were really great. The plaveisgood for large groups and it's nice to sit inside as opposed to eating street food. Highly recommend.

Delicious food with pizza and pasta. The restaurant is clean. Hue was very enthusiastic, versatile ud83dude0a helped bandage the wounds, provided trip information for me more easily in the Ha Giang loop, they even helped me find a place to sleep (Dong Van was hard to find a place to stay) Thinking on Saturday night ud83dude11) I propose with a big heart, they treat customers as a family and really very kind!
