Du Gia Homestay

Really quaint homestay with a nice garden and lights. The dinner was delicious for 100k and the dorm room was nice at 120k (with breakfast). The staff all speak English and the beds are nice and soft.

I really liked the appearance of the house and the room! We had a beautiful view on a rice paddy which was being planted when we were there. Room was small and there was nowhere to store your belongings. We had several blood stains on our blankets... The dinner was the best and really worth the price!! Since you sit and eat with others it's a great way of getting to know some fellow travelers. It was very noisy at night, tho. Breakfast was good but staff seemed a bit overchallenged. This is supposed to be the oldest accommodation in Du Gia, so I wonder why it is so difficult for them to provide salt with the breakfast and sugar with the coffee when you ask them...

I would say staying here was ok. Overpriced compared to other homestays during this period. The family dinner really wasnt special.. just some fried spring rolls.. fried chicken.. I mean it tasted good but it wasn’t anything particularly traditional or unique to the area. Landscapes are nice.

Honestly I think this place is a bit overrated. It has really good reviews but it is one of the more pricey Homestays that I have stayed in. 120k for a dorm bed. Everything is just really average. The beds. The rooms. Etc.nnAlso we paid for the laundry service 50k per kg. And my clothes smell bad. I understand that maybe they don’t have a washing machine here or the equipment to clean the clothes very well but then why would you charge 50k per kg?
